The project was split into two main components, residential and commercial, with the podium providing a critical link between a rail station and adjacent developments in the surrounding area. The unusual form required a redesign of the process used to develop architecture, challenging BIM experts, animators, software engineers and architects to create new ways of dealing with vast quantities of data effectively. This process integrates energy modelling, animation, BIM and financial modelling into a real- time investigative design approach. The hospitality component is a 250 key boutique hotel on the 50th floor of the commercial tower with dedicated lobby, lifts and service spaces, health club, spa, food and beverage outlets and a podium conference center.
