An experienced landscape architect, Harsh started his career with the inspiration to restore and preserve public open spaces in the interest of the public. Immediately after graduation he moved to Mumbai to be part of the movement to save the city’s waterfronts. He gained experience dealing with city administration and vested stakeholders, as well as community groups. Harsh gained his higher education from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, which led him to work with some of the best designers in the world on various landscape architecture and master planning projects on several continents. His experience in the U.S. includes positions at eminent firms NBBJ in Columbus, Ohio and Burt Hill in Pittsburgh where he was mainly involved in UAE projects and eventually transferred to Burt Hill’s India office, soon to become Stantec, to utilize his international experience in the Indian context. Today, Harsh continues building INI’s landscape and urban design portfolio and seeks to play a vital role in shaping the landscape of Indian communities. Recent successes include large master planning/landscape/urban planning projects across India for various State government agencies, tourism departments, private corporations and major universities.
