Dharmesh has over 15 years of practice experience in Architecture and Design with a creative Design and Research portfolio. Prior to joining INI, Dharmesh worked with renowned design practices in Bangalore engaged in international collaborations on projects ranging from Mixed-Use Development to Housing, Institutional projects and Applied Research. As a Senior member at INI, he has worked on the significant Institutional Campus, Mixed Use Master Plans, Museums, Healthcare, Urban Design projects and several high-end Residential communities. He has an interest in structure and technology innovations, and working on selective Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects focused upon socio-spatial issues catering to specific communities. He seeks to understand the nature of evolving building typologies and their relevant design strategies. His analytical abilities continuously encourage him to explore innovations and ideas fundamentally rooted in culture and context. He is also active in applied research focusing on Community, Typology, Sustainability and Technology for the various projects by INI. Dharmesh is registered with the Council of Architecture and holds a B.Arch. from CEPT University, Ahmedabad. He has earned a special grant for his dissertation topic revolving around Design and Technology. He continued pursuing the same in his Post Graduation in Urbanism at Bauhaus Foundation, Dessau, Germany. Later, he developed a teaching module ‘Networked Environments’, which he has actively demonstrated in workshops conducted at various design institutes across India.
