Amit, a Mechanical Engineer, ASHRAE certified Health Care Facility Design Professional (HFDP – currently the only one in India), and pursuing Fire Fighting Design Engineering Diploma from MIT, has more than 25 years of experience in the field of HVAC Product Development, Design, Planning and Execution. Amit has lead the MEPF engineering team at Sheth Techno Consultants + INI for the design of more than 200 projects in India and internationally. With his commanding knowledge of International Standards, especially in the Science and Technology and Health Care field, Amit has delivered many complex large scale projects including Hospital Complexes in India and overseas. Apart from the Healthcare Facility Design he has been a key design principal for designing various types of building projects – Shopping Malls, Multiplex Theatres, Commercial Buildings, Hotels, Laboratories, Factories, Clean Environments, Interior MEPF design, High-End Residential Buildings, High- End Villas, Auditoriums, Convention Centre’s, and numerous Retrofits. He is a past president of ISHRAE (Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineering) for Ahmedabad, and Member, Board of Governors for ASHRAE WIC (American Society of Heating Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers). He is an IGBC Accredited Professional (IGBC AP). Amit is an effective communicator, with skills to effectively assign delegation of work. Keeping his team’s morale high through a positive attitude is his forte.
